Bishop Auckland had a fantastic day at the Darlington Festival, showcasing their skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Their first match against the Hartlepool Old Boys was a closely contested affair. Despite all their difficulties in overcoming Hartlepool Old Boys, Amelia Denham managed to secure a try for Bishop Auckland. Unfortunately, the Old Boys proved to be a formidable opponent, despite Tori Tellegen’s tackling and Old Boys won the match with a score of 6 tries to 1.

In their second match against Billingham, Bishop Auckland demonstrated their resilience and attacking prowess. Billingham opened the scoring, but Scarlett Lithgow quickly responded with a try of her own. Despite Billingham's efforts, Isla Greenwood and Martha Boyd continued to shine, contributing multiple tries each. Bishop Auckland ultimately secured a victory over Billingham, showcasing their ability to overcome adversity and play with intensity.

Their final match against Redcar was another highlight of the day. Amelia and Isla got Bishop Auckland off to a strong start with early tries. The team's impressive teamwork and individual skill were on full display as Mia Taylor, Sienna Guy, Frankie Burn and Lillian Dunn all contributed to the team's success. Bishop Auckland dominated the match, demonstrating their superiority on the field.
