Wow, what a team performance, with only 17 players and no replacement front row we were apprehensive that we might have had to go uncontested if we took a knock up front.

We set away with a score in the first 3 minutes and never looked back.
The boys saw a couple of weaknesses in the Consett side with their 9 & 15 and took full advantage.

We ran 11 try’s in against a decent team and converted 4 on a very windy morning.

Discipline saw us get a team yellow and lost our 10 for 7 minutes and conceded a couple, but we gathered ourselves, took control again and ended up 44 points to the good.

Consett gave the man of the match to Callum Ayre who deserved every bit of it with some excellent tackles and brilliant ball carrying.

To be honest every boy in a Bishop shirt was brilliant today and could not have given any more.

Everyone deserved a chilled afternoon and you need to be immensely proud of yourselves for your attitudes, committment and how you played as a unit.
