Our team had an early start and by 10.30 were raring and ready to go!! Taking to the pitch with only fifteen of our players and one on the bench, the team started well.

A first half of sheer grit and determination saw great tackles from Liam, Thomas, Kai, Benji and Jake. The backs held the line but Gosforth were stronger and we finished the first half 24-0.

After a half time chat, Bishop came back with a fantastic try from Ben- his first for the club! The team showed strength and determination. They powered on through the second half with some great kicking, firm line outs, impressive scrums and bursts of positive play- gaining another two tries by Jake.

Well done to the Under 16’s. Today’s performance showed that the commitment to training is beginning to translate to the pitch with some great pockets of play!
