So we hosted a quick and creative Blaydon team this weekend at West Mills.

Blaydon have some very fast players who proved tricky to stop early on, but rather than let our heads drop the Under 8’s stepped up to the challenge.

The mission for the past few weeks in training sessions that we've been working on…attacking lines, to move the ball at speed, change of direction and to play the ball down the line to create space. In today’s games all of that suddenly clicked and we were awesome. You all did it and to boot it off your attention to the attack just baffled a well drilled Blaydon side with us turning over the ball after 6 strong tackles, this happened time and time again!

The number of turn overs and the burst of speed were just unmatched and some blinding tries scored off the power from the mighty U8 Bishops.

Even Blaydon coaches commented on how good we were today!

Every single player gave 100% effort from start to finish and communication was nothing short of brilliant. It was impossible this week to pick player of the match as each player deserved to take the trophy home. So collectively as a team we celebrated an outstanding game of rugby and team performance. You have made 3 coaches super proud of you all.
