Back on home turf to welcome Consett down to West Mills for a great morning of rugby. Consett have always been a great team to play against and this weekend was no different.

We’ve been working on our attacking/defensive lines in training recently and this week the under 8’s were starting to put practice to great use, especially from turnovers which led to some brilliant tries.

Condensed down to only one pitch this week and with almost double the numbers Consett had, meant we had plenty of rolling subs and the attitude and support from the sides from the whole team was fantastic from start to finish. The whole team put on a great game.

Well done to our players of the week, Isaac for his constant effort and communication to team mates and to Arthur for his strength in running forward and creating gaps to bring numerous tries. Well done! See you all at training Sunday!
