As soon as the whistle blew a very fast Sunderland caught us off guard with an early try which we weren’t expecting .
This woke us up and we replied straight away with a return try and the pace of the games was very quick and end to end from that point.

All the players both home and away were quick responders and read each other’s little weaknesses brilliantly to their own advantage .
Some great passing was done by both throughout which made it a very fast paced and exciting game of rugby and Bishops support play was outstanding.

This week’s player(s) of the match was one of the hardest we’ve had to choose as each player had possibly their best game so far and each rightly deserved to take that trophy home.

However our award went to Jack for his outstanding show of power running with the ball at Sunderland’s defensive line, his tries and his support play throughout the entire game and to Max for the sheer amount of tags taken, the runs and support play.

Well done Jack & Max, but also well done Bishop U8’s. You were all outstanding this week and to be fair they are all winners!
