A pleasantly warm day greeted Bishop under 9's for their game against Consett. Consett showed they were well prepared for the game by scoring immediately as the game started. This appeared to wake up Bishop's under 9's as they proceeded to grind away with some fantastic runs and brilliant tackles.

Bishops eagerness to ensure Consett were held back provided the best performance of the season so far. Every player played their part and not once did anyone see a head drop. The tackling was on top form and teamwork to make sure Consett could not break through was a sight to behold.
