It was a bracing morning on the fields at Hebburn this Sunday morning, but despite the chilly weather our U9’s were up for a game of rugby.

The team have really developed over the last few months, focusing on staying onside and defensive and attacking lines.

Tags and tries came thick and fast with the usual mix of excellent individual, and team tries. Our last few games have seen an increase in the latter, with some fantastic support running helping break through defences. The opposition coach praised our team saying it was some of the best passing he'd seen!

After the game he was also impressed with the conduct of our boys (not girls this week), how smartly turned out they were, and how well they behaved. A credit to their parents and the club.
