On Sunday at Darlington, the Braves were back to their dynamic best.
After a below par performance at Hartlepool, we asked the girls to stamp their mark early in the game and impose themselves on our opposition.
We wanted more commitment, communication and team work to get an early foothold in the game.
We were blessed with the addition of two great players from Houghton/Durham who really complimented our team. The girls didn't disappoint and were committed from the first whistle.
Lots of great work around the breakdown, effort in defence and some lovely go forward. The girls saw for themselves that we are much stronger in defence when we move towards the attack, narrow down the space and put the opposition under pressure.
The girls acknowledged that they could see the difference when we worked together on this rather than letting the opposition run at us. Some amazing tries in this game with some fantastic dynamic runs, with lots of support.
Some fantastic performances all round, but in her first game for a while, Molly really stood up when the going got tough, put in some great tackles and strong forward runs. This was by far Mollys best game of the season so far and I'm sure she'll go from strength to strength, well done Molly on Brave of the Match.
